RadioBOSS is radio automation software from DJSoft.net for terrestrial and Internet radio stations, as well as businesses that need background audio for restaurants, shops and similar venues. The developer positions it as a lower-cost alternative to traditional professional programming applications, which are often priced in the thousands of dollars. The current release line is 7.2, and the vendor reports twenty years of continuous development.

The software builds playlists with crossfading, automatic volume leveling, advertising support, hourly blocks and rotations. It can convert and manage audio files in several formats and supports Winamp and VST plugins, multichannel sound cards (4.0, 5.1, 7.1 and others), individual user profiles and user access control. Version 7.2 added a Virtual Mixer, a layout manager and dayparting, along with updates to the Scheduler and Playlist Generator.

RadioCaster is a live audio encoder that sends audio from a computer input or playback device to an Internet stream. It supports ASIO devices, transcoding, metadata and DSP processing. The developer also offers stream hosting from $12 per month, including 24/7 automation, statistics reports, and port 80 and HTTPS streaming, along with an Internet radio directory where stations can be listed.
